Due to this, we would like to let you know how we manage your personal data.

Legal basis for the processing

We are processing your data because you consented to this by accepting the regulations of the game and by entering into contract with us by registering in the game. Besides, processing your personal data is required so that you can play. Data recipients They are the Personal Data Administrator, eligible Team members (administrators, games masters, engineers, forum moderators, community managers) and public authorities and their representatives acting within the provisions of the law.

Why do we process it?

1. So that you can play.
Pride of Taern is an MMORPG. It is normal that such games identify their players, e.g. by email (especially when players can create multiple characters on one account). We are no exception to this rule and so we have to process this data so that you can play. If we did not process it, you would not even be able to log in.

2. In order to provide support and manage players
During the game, you may encounter some problems you might not be able to deal with. It may be a bug, a glitch or a conflict with another player. We are doing our best to minimize these, but it is impossible to avoid them in a game with tens of thousands of players. If we are to solve your problems with support or simply inside the game, we need to use your personal data. We try to use as little data as possible but sometimes it is necessary to use it.

3. So that we can send you emails.
Sometimes we have something to tell you, e.g. information about a new boss or event in the game. That is why, if you consent, we can also process your personal data for marketing purposes. Those who consent to receiving marketing emails know that we do no send many of them - we only inform about the most important updates.

4. So that you can buy platinum
Some players buy a special in-game currency - platinum. We need to process at least some personal data to be able to assign the currency to the right character. However, most of it is processed by our payment intermediary Paymentwall Inc.

5. So that you can use the forum
Forum is an integral part of our service. We need to process personal data so that you can log in and post there, and so that we can manage the forum.

How long will you be processing my data for?
We'll be processing your data for as long as it is necessary. This means that:

1. it will be processed for as long as you have an account in the game,
2. if you choose to remove your account, your data will be archived so that we can defend against lawsuits or claims that may be asserted against us.

Your rights

If you want, you can access your personal data. In order to do this, you need to submit a request on www.support.taern.com. You can ask us for the following things:

1. the reason for processing.
2. types of personal data processed
3. information about recipients and types of recipients who have knowledge of your personal data, especially in third countries or international organizations,
4. the planned duration of personal data storage or, if it cannot be done, the criteria for determining the duration
5. information about the right to request from the administrator a change, removal or restriction of personal data processing for a person whose data it is or raising objections about the processing.
6. information about the right to file a complaint to the supervisory authority

Right to change your data
You can request an immediate change to your personal data, if it is invalid, or complete it, if it is incomplete, through our support.

Right to remove your data
You can request an immediate deletion of your personal data. However, we can refuse if we think that we may need it to defend against claims. If we decide so, it will be archived.

Right to restrict the processing of personal data

On the basis of Article 10 of GDPR, you can request a restriction of the processing of your personal data. Your request should include a clearly indicated legal basis.
You can use your rights through www.support.taern.com by creating an request. We will reply within 21 days.

Additional information

Non-personal data

Whitemoon System retrieves the following data as part of website, forum and game usage:

1. cookies, local Flash data,
2. statistical information, e.g. browser type, operational system, the URL of the page that pointed the user to the website of Whitemoon System, the date, time, duration and frequency of site usage.

We do not tie this data to any particular individual, but we analyze it statistically, as an anonymous dataset.
